Margaret Brooker BSc

Margaret has always drawn and painted, and studying zoology and botany at University meant the daily drawing of animals and plants. After many years of practice and study she is now a qualified teacher of adults, for general drawing and for botanical artwork. Margaret has won two Silver Gilt medals at the Royal Horticultural Society’s London shows. Margaret was a member of the Society of Botanical Artists and exhibited with them for 15 years.

She always has botanical projects on the go as well as other artwork including sketching and life drawing. Her motivation within the Bedgebury Florilegium is to make a valid contribution to the conservation of the natural world through her artwork.
