Fabulous finches - illustrated talk and winter walk

Every winter Bedgebury becomes a roosting site for visiting and local finches, including, on occasion, the elusive hawfinch.

Christine George, a local birder and ringer, is passionate about birds and in this talk she will explore the fascinating lives of finches: what makes them special, how to identify them, where and when to find them and other interesting finch facts.  The talk will be followed by a winter bird walk, to see which finches and other birds can be found in the Pinetum.

The talk will start at 1:15pm and, with the walk, will last 2 to 3 hours. Please bring your own binoculars if you have them.

Walk and talk:

£12 per person (members), £15 per person (non-members).

Talk only:
