Have you got a digital SLR camera but no clue about how to move away from the "Auto" setting? Do you want to learn how to use the features of your camera and get fabulous results? Professional photographer, Lisa Hills, will combine practical camera and photography knowhow to show you how to take great photos. She will give you tips on composition and lighting and help you understand the role of shutter speed and aperture so that you can be a more confident photographer. The session will include such things as:
- How to take sharp photos of objects with a blurred background
- How to capture action
- Landscape photography
- Reviewing & critique of images
Limited numbers. £25 per person. The session will start at 10.00am and last approx. 2 hours. The session on Saturday is a 'teens' session for young people who are interested in photography. Suitable for anyone aged over 12. Adult supervision will be required for anyone aged below 18.

Booking conditions: All events are held at or will start from the Visitor Centre unless otherwise specified. Full payment is required to reserve places on all events. No refunds can be offered for failure to attend any course. If excessively adverse weather is forecast, a cancellation email will be sent three days before the event. If you are unable to attend on the proposed alternative date, you will be offered a full refund. Dogs are not permitted. Events involving a walk may not be suitable for those with limited mobility.
