Learning Team

wildlife safari group pictureVolunteers are an enormous help to our learning team. Another pair of hands can make everyone’s day so much easier. It’s also a fun, first-hand way of finding out more about the National Pinetum and the education programmes we run here.

We’re delighted to hear from volunteers who want to help with anything for education, but we are particularly looking for people who would be willing to help accompany school and group visits.

Don’t worry – we would not expect you to teach the children or take responsibility for them! The main duties are simply to help prepare for the children, carry equipment, take down shelters and generally help the learning team leading the group. So, if you have some spare time during weekdays from roughly 9am to 3pm, particularly between April and the end of July, then why not think about it?
